Egg Assessment Fee - Three-Month Suspension

Chapter 16-108 WAC

The WSDA Food Safety Program is proposing a change to Chapter 16-108 WAC Washington State Seals and Assessments.

The proposed change will suspend the assessment fee charged to egg handlers and dealers who pay monthly assessments in lieu of egg seals or facsimile egg seals imprinted on egg containers.  This suspension will be for three months effective with September, 2008's assessment.  This change was coordinated with the industry.

Comments Due: 7/10/2008  Adopted 7/23/2008  Effective (tentative) 8/24/2008
